Here it is: stripped to the bones…. Greg and Steve’s brother spent a handful of days gutting and replacving the plumbing. We’ve added a water treatment system and new circuits for the breaker…

We spent all day Saturday hauling away the innards of the cottage..old wood, fiber walls, plumbing, etc!

Steve was up last week and he ripped down as much of the old paneling as he could… exposing the old skeleton of my dear little place!

Greg called last night! The new door from Andersen — complete with Prairie grilles is in! I cannot wait to see it!

Work has begun!! Greg was up and he painted the whole place and began the deck repairs that are so badly needed. We also ordered new windows and a door!

I’ve been working with two great fellows up in TC to get a septic system put in. I didn’t realize but Dad never had anything done with the OLD system that’s there. So the first step in updating and remodeling is a new septic. More to follow…
