Jake is here…and he’s so happy. When this all began we had actually pondered if the trip and the stairs at the cottage would be too much for him. But he traveled well, makes the stairs okay and is so happy to take a short walk and then lay on his bed. This is his 12 summer here at Spider Lake. We could all be so lucky to finish our days in a patch of sun by a cool lake. My heart still breaks for little Jake – he has no idea he’s sick.
I just want him to be happy a few more days… in the sun.
